Chilly Billy's, St. John

St. John USVI Restaurants

Looking for a great breakfast and brunch deli on the island of St. John? Then look no further than Chilly Billy's - undoubtedly one of the most scrumptious and hardy ways to begin the day. Looking for a more elegant dining experience during the evening hours? Then you guessed right again: Chilly Billy's not only opens up for bright daylight cuisine, but also offers a romantic venue with 10 beautifully set tables for diners enjoyment.

With great food during both periods of the day Chilly Billy's offers happy vacationers one of the more appealing locales for an island restaurant.

Check out the great menu and refreshing drinks while you enjoy a true St. John experience. Find the restaurant in the shopping center known as the Lumberyard.

The Menu

Many vacationing island visitors are attracted to the great deli sandwiches offered up on the tempting lunch time menu at Chilly Billy's deli. One of my personal favorites is the St. John Reuben sandwich made of the sumptuous ingredients such as jack cheese with jalapeņos, turkey, mustard and sauerkraut slathered onto delicious rye bread. But for those with more of an appetite for a robust and delicious brunch or breakfast, then Chilly Billy's is the place to go. One menu item that can absolutely not be missed is the unbelievably good tasting French toast made with monkey bread. When I go I like to make sure that the bread being used is the raisin and apple variety - yummm! As with all of the French toast plates here at Chilly Billy's, the bread is soaked in a delightful mixture of eggs and Irish cream, the fried to perfection for the hungry early bird (early being as late as 2:30 in the afternoon here on the relaxing Island of St. John). Yet even here it seems that it is impossible to completely avoid the zesty flavor of the Caribbean - and who would want to? With a flavor-packed breakfast burrito hungry restaurant guests like you can enjoy eggs and cheese wrapped up in a Mexican-style flour tortilla.

For dinner, visit one of the many other restaurants on the island that serves food in the evening time.

Anything to Drink?

One of the more tantalizing aspects of dining at Chilly Billy's in the morning is the fact that all of their coffee - and other drinks - can be made alcoholic for the happy island vacationer who likes a stiff one while he or she is still waking up. It was enough to cause me to smirk but I ordered one anyway. After all, island life is a vacation for nearly everyone - so why not enjoy it a little?

The Restaurant

Centrally located on the beautiful Cruz Bay coastline, Chilly Billy's prime second story location provides restaurant visitors like you an exceptional view of a good portion of the dazzling blue Cruz Bay water in the morning time. In addition, the harbor can be seen from Chilly Billy's, making it a great morning and midday locale to enjoy a delicious breakfast, brunch or deli sandwich lunch.
