Sapphire Beach has calm to mild surf and is home to many water sports. On this beach you will enjoy swimming, snorkeling, wind surfing, kayaking, jet skiing, and parasailing. There is a water sports booth located directly on the beach where you can rent any accessories you may need.
Most people do not mind the small entry fee to Magens Beach which is St. Thomas’s most popular beach. The waters on this beach are very calm. Food and other refreshments, restrooms, chairs, floats, water craft rental and a gift shop are nearby.
St. Thomas has several other beaches which include Bluebeards Beach, Secret Harbor, Bolongo Bay, Hull Bay, Morningstar Beach, Limetree Beach, Cowpet Beach, Mandahl Bay, Brewers Bay, Vessup Bay, and Water Bay. Each beach has its own personality with either a sandy or rocky beach that can be enjoyed by either swimming, snorkeling or just sunbathing. St. Thomas is also home to the famous Mahohany Run 18 hole Championship Golf Course. The golf course is located on the majestic north side of the island only 20 minutes from Charlotte Amalie.
